What to expect
Daily hands-on practice gets you further than a weekly class. You learn bowls, plates, handles and core techniques, together with a small group. The retreat is for beginners and for anyone who wants to refine their skills. Because we work in a small group, we can cater to every level.
At the end you take home up to fifteen handmade pieces and lots of lovely memories from Zurich.

No, the class is for beginners.

In the morning from 10 am to 12:30 pm you have class. Then there’s lunch, and until 3:30 pm you have free practice time in the studio.

We run the City Clay Retreat in summer, autumn and winter. You’ll find the current dates under “See dates”.If you already know you’ll miss a day, please get in touch with us beforehand.

Your pieces are ready 14 days after the glazing session. You can pick them up any time during our opening hours.

We keep your pieces for 3 months. Please pick them up within that time.

We are a small studio and work in a group of up to 6 participants. For this reason, each student is very important to us. The following policy applies: if you cancel up to 1 month before the start, you receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 1 month before the start, we keep 50%
