Our Story

Studio Roka was founded in 2020 in Zürich, Switzerland. Roka is a place of creativity, inspiration and an escape from the everyday. It offers a variety of courses as well as an open workshop for all clay enthusiasts. Here you will also find a small shop, selling locally made ceramics by Roka’s founder, Mojca Vidmar.

Mojca is the founder of Studio Roka. A potter and a photographer in love with contemporary aesthetics.

Micol is a teacher and a ceramist with a funky touch. A rare kind that loves making handles and a curious soul. :) She speaks English and Italian.

Ami is a creative whirlwind and a bundle of positivity. She is our expert on color combinations and has a background in art education. As a ceramist and a teacher she supports us in all of the daily business. Ami speaks English and Slovene.

Make it stand out

Greta. Our administrative assistant, despite her love for order, has developed a real obsession for all the mess, and all of this at Studio Roka. From the first course on, she was enthusiastic and hasn't stopped creating since. She now teaches beginner courses and is here for you on Mondays.

Isuf is our studio assistant and an evolving potter, always with a ‘why’ up his sleeve. A witty glaze name inventor and a smiley face we love to have around!
