Organic Deep-Well Presentation Plates
Crafted by Mojca Vidmar | Studio Roka, Zürich
Dramatic, sculptural, and designed for theatrical culinary staging, these wide-rimmed organic plates turn every dish into a focal art piece. Hand-sculpted in Zürich by ceramist Mojca Vidmar, each piece features a wide, asymmetrical organic rim surrounding a deep central well—drawing the eye inward to frame delicate broths, foams, amuse-bouches, or signature tasting dishes.
While sharing the same sculptural language and silhouette, each of the three available plates is entirely unique, showcasing a distinct color combination:
Black & Ivory Contrast: Matte charcoal-black outer rim with a luminous white glazed well.
Marbled Stone & Moss: Textured marbled grey-sand clay with a natural, mossy dark interior glaze.
Pure Obsidian: Full matte black rim paired with a rich, glossy black glazed center.
Their dramatic contrast between raw matte rims and liquid-like glazed wells makes them extraordinary props for high-end food styling, editorial photography, and fine-dining tasting events.
Material: Stoneware with mixed matte and glossy glazes
Quantity Available: 3 unique pieces (rent individually or as a complementary trio)
Rental Rate: CHF 10 per piece (Standard 3-day rental)
Colorways: Black & Ivory, Marbled Grey/Sand, Full Obsidian Black
Best For: Fine-dining food photography, tasting menu plating, avant-garde culinary styling, editorial shoots, and high-end event staging
