Keramikshop › Architectural Geometric Ceramic Earth Vessel

Architectural Geometric Ceramic Earth Vessel

180,00 CHF

Crafted by Mojca Vidmar | Studio Roka Atelier, Zürich

A study of contrast: a simple, quiet form holding a fluid, moving swirl.

I love to repurpose mixed materials and let them show their final colors only in their final stage. Thrown on the potter's wheel, this piece captures a single moment where my hands guided the clay. Because the pattern forms organically during the throwing process, no two pieces carry the exact same swirl or character. They are a deeply haptic experience—intentional, tactile, and entirely unique. The subtle tones of earth and rust bring a quiet elegance to the dark stoneware.

This piece brings an edgy, architectural contrast to your space. The tension between the rigid, geometric lines of the silhouette and the fluid, organic movement of the mixed clay creates an unexpected energy. It feels more like a modern structure than a traditional ceramic vessel.

I love this piece for highly minimalist, structural plants—a single bold leaf, angular branches, or dried seed pods. Left empty, its sharp angles and raw texture lend a minimalist, slightly brutalist flair to any room.
