I love to repurpose mixed materials and let them show their final colors only in their final stage. By intentionally accentuating the raw, contrasting textures of dark charcoal and light stonewares, this hand-thrown piece celebrates the unrepeatability of true ceramic art. Fine horizontal banding ribbons around the column, giving the impression of geological strata or captured movement.
