ABOUT US
Doing what we do best – teaching pottery techniques with emphasis of the benefits of working with your hands for your mind and body. It’s not only about making ceramics, it’s about slowing down, working with your hands and enjoying a creative break from everyday routines. Many find the process almost meditative: you forget time, focus on the clay, and leave with both new skills and a calmer mind.
Mojca is the founder of Studio Roka. A ceramist and a design lover in love with contemporary aesthetics.
“Studio Roka is my second home and merges everything I love. Meeting new people, expressing myself creatively and spreading the love for handcraft. Welcome to our living room. I hope you feel this love in every visit!”
— Mojca Vidmar
Maria is our teacher and HR specialist, another friendly face in the team. Fun spirited and always well dressed :)
“I love that clay has a life of its own. Trying to tame it into something useful and beautiful is my passion”
— Maria Truija
Michael is our studio assistant, making sure everything can run smooth for our members and our team! Mostly elbows deep in clay. When not working, he is an aspiring artist.
— Michael Tulio Bühler
Studio Roka’s all-rounder. A teacher, a creator and our favourite DJ :)
A creative head we love having around.
— Olivia Robin Kurz
Meet Greta, always wearing a smile and never afraid to get her hands deep in clay. She’s our all-round teacher, sharing her love for ceramics with everyone who steps into the studio.
P.S. Have you noticed her apron? We think it’s just as cool as she is!
— Greta-Maria Kribbe
Lena is our face behind the scenes, helping to keep things organized, shape our workflows, and support Mojca in various areas. In essence, she makes sure we stay well-organized in the present and can look to the future with optimism.
With her on board, we can dedicate more energy to what we love most: clay, creativity, and community.
— Lena Urban
Anna takes on everything from daily tasks to creative improvements on our website and social media. Everything related to graphics and design is shaped by her hand. You might meet her in the Creative Space during a ceramic painting session or in the shop itself.
She’s a creative talent and at the same time a calm, inspiring presence, someone you simply enjoy spending time with.
— Anna Hürlimann
We are dedicated to learn to appreciate the imperfections of handcrafted products. It is where its beauty lies.
