Taster
This course offers a fun introduction to working with clay—perfect for you if you’d like to give pottery a try. With our guidance, you’ll learn the basics and use the thumb-coiling technique to shape your own bowl or cup.
Make your piece truly unique by adding a handle or stamping your name on it. We’ll glaze it for you, and you can pick up your finished piece in about three weeks.

Handbuilding Foundations
Discover the fundamentals of handbuilding in this calm and creative 4-week course. You’ll learn the essential techniques, pinch, coil, and slab — while exploring form, texture, and your own artistic voice. Each session builds on the last, guiding you from simple shapes to more refined functional pieces. You’ll complete several finished pieces and gain the confidence to continue creating on your own.
Level: Suitable for complete beginners and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of clay.
Topic: Fundamentals, pinching, coiling, slab building, texture.

Studio Specials
As the week winds down, our studio lights up with calm creativity. These Friday evening workshops, led by Studio Roka’s founder, Mojca, are something truly special. Offered once a month and dedicated to deepening different ceramic techniques. Designed for those with some clay experience, these gatherings offer time to grow gently, mindfully, and in good company.

A playful session full of colour and flow. This workshop invites you to explore the fascinating world of mixed clay, a technique in which different clay bodies are combined to create unique organic or geometric patterns directly within the material. In this course, you can take the objects you‘ve made home with you. We‘ll glaze them with a transparent glaze.
