Prerequisites:
You have completed the “Clay Foundation” or “Clay Flow” course at Studio Roka. Experienced potters are welcome to schedule a visit to the Open Atelier to explore our studio, try out our facilities, and get to know us.

Not ready to commit to a membership?
Whether you want to continue a project from a pottery class, try out a new idea, or simply let your hands do the work, the Open Studio offers you the time and space to experiment without pressure.
It’s not a class—it’s just your own time, where you can work at your own pace. Our team is there to offer gentle support when needed, but the process, the decisions, and the pace are entirely up to you. A quiet, open space where you can reconnect with yourself through clay, curiosity, and the simple joy of creating in a well equipped pottery studio.

Level: Open to anyone with sufficient experience working with clay to be able to work independently
Duration: 3 hours per session
We recommend visiting the “Open Atelier” every 1–2 weeks to prevent your artwork from drying out.
Each shelf can be used to store your creations for up to 12 weeks.

To enhance your pottery workshop, we offer curated Apéros and wine tastings in partnership with our local neighbor, Vinisfera. Combine the art of ceramics with a premium wine experience, perfect for team bonding or private celebrations.
At Studio Roka, we create more than just pottery. You’ll leave the studio with your own handmade ceramic piece and a lasting memory of time spent together.

When you work with your hands, something changes. You’re away from the screen, out of your daily routine and fully in the moment. This is exactly where connection happens. You sit across from each other, strike up a conversation, laugh, experiment, and create something of your own together.
Whether as a team event or a private gathering: pottery creates space for exchange, strengthens camaraderie, and brings a new, relaxed dynamic to any group. Our courses are designed so that everyone can participate, with no prior experience required. The focus isn’t on perfection, but on the shared experience.
We’re happy to welcome groups of up to 25 people to our studio. Just let us know the size of your group, your preferred dates, and what you’re looking for, and we’ll put together a customized package that’s perfect for your event.

Firing Service
We'd be happy to fire your work for you
Information for you
We fire only high-fire stoneware and porcelain, both for bisque firing and glaze firing, and only pieces that bear a signature or manufacturer’s mark. Not sure if your clay is suitable for high-fire firing? You can also purchase clay from us.
Please note: New glazes must always be tested first. Customers are liable for any damage to the kiln caused by the use of unsuitable clay or glaze materials.
