Clay Foundations – A 6-Week Beginner Journey on the wheel
Step into the world of pottery and discover what it means to create with your own hands. Over 6 weeks, you’ll learn the essentials of wheel throwing: shaping, trimming, glazing, and firing. With each session, you’ll see your skills grow and leave with 6–12 unique pieces — perhaps even your new favorite coffee mug.

In our cozy atelier, you can choose between:
Handbuilding or sculpting with clay
Painting ceramics to give your personal touch
One of our teachers will be there to guide and support you. A warm drink is included to keep the holiday spirit alive. Clay and bisque-fired ceramics for painting can be purchased directly on site.

CLASS: KURINUKI
KURINUKI and the world of Wabi Sabi
Discover the meditative beauty of Kurinuki, a traditional Japanese hand-carving technique. In this class, you'll start with a conversation and slowing down. Designing your piece under wabi-sabi philosophy and start with solid blocks of clay. Gradually and intentionally carving out two expressive and fully functional cups, no molds, no wheels, just your hands, tools, and intuition.
This is a wonderful practice for slowing down, embracing imperfection, and creating something truly one-of-a-kind

Clay Taster – Pottery on the Wheel
Curious about pottery but not ready for a full course? In this 2-hour session, you’ll get a hands-on introduction to the wheel. With our guidance, you’ll shape your very first bowl and explore the basic techniques of working with clay.
It’s the perfect way to experience the joy of wheel throwing, try something new after work or on the weekend, and see if pottery is for you — without a big commitment.
Your finished piece will be trimmed, glazed and fired by us, and ready for pickup about three weeks later.
Level: Complete beginners, no prior experience needed.

MINI CLASS
In this 3-session course, you’ll explore the very basics of wheel throwing:
Session 1 - 3 hours: Intro, Wheel throwing. Make from 1 up to 5 pieces.
Session 2 - 3 hours: Trimming, refining, and preparing pieces for bisque firing.
Session 3 - 2 hours: You will book an open atelier slot at your convenience to glaze your pieces.
A perfect opportunity to have a first look into the whole process of making ceramics!
